Peter moved to Salesforce in 2011, where he continues his work at the intersection of digital technology transformation, business strategy, social movements, and geopolitics. In the late 1980s Peter moved to Berkeley to launch Global Business Network (GBN) which became known as the leading practitioner of scenario thinking about the future of digital economy and society, working for global businesses, major non-profits, and government agencies around the world. In the mid 1980s he ran the Global Business Environment Unit at Royal Dutch/Shell, the world’s premier scenario planning group at that time. An aeronautical engineer by training, Peter started his long and intimate relationship with digital technology in business and society when he joined SRI in the mid 1970s.
